Important questions
The rules of the game when renting a set
- For each new tenant a customer form is filled in and a copy of the passport is requested. This data will never be passed on to third parties.
- For each rental, an agreement is filled in regarding the rented Lego set. This states: the code, rental period, your details, the total rental price and the deposit. This is drawn up and signed in two copies. One copy for the tenant and the landlord.
- The set is delivered in a closed box. This contains the building instructions, the index of the bags/boxes, game rules, a block separator and the blocks.
- If a set is reserved by mail, WhatsApp or telephone, an order confirmation will be sent with the necessary information. The reservation is only valid after payment. When renting or reserving a set via our webshop, it is suggested to pay via the linked payment system. In exceptional cases, payment can be made via payconinq or cash.
- When building the sets, never mix the bricks with your own bricks. Build the sets in a separate place.
- When choosing to dismantle the set yourself, sort according to the sorting instructions. These instructions are enclosed. Provide sufficient time to dismantle and sort.
- Never use a knife or other sharp object when taking the set apart. Teeth are also not suitable for this. The brick separator is included in each set to take the blocks apart.
- If it is not indicated in advance that the set will remain assembled and it is returned as a whole, the deposit will not be refunded.
- Each set is delivered according to the index. The bags or boxes are weighed and will be weighed again upon delivery. Missing blocks as well as damaged parts will be charged.
- If a block is missing during construction, note this on the enclosed information sheet. If this is an essential block, report this immediately by telephone. Action will be taken.
- If the set is returned and it turns out that a unique piece is missing, you will be charged for the entire set.
- When returning the set, any damage or incompleteness will be recovered from the renter.
- If the set is submitted late, the weekly rate will be charged for each week that is late.
- The deposit will be refunded to the account number you provided no later than 7 days after the end of the rental period.
The set is always packed in a closed box.
The blocks to build the set + spare pieces. The blocks are divided into different bags. This by type or color.
If the original manual is in our possession, it will be included with the set.
Each set comes with a brick separator. This is to separate the blocks.
There is a manual in the set of Brickset for you. This manual contains the following: Additional general information about the set. The rules of Brickset for You. A detailed classification of the blocks per bag. In this classification you will find the Lego code, color, photos of the piece, number and description.
With each set there is a form where you can write down the missing stones. These stones will then be ordered as soon as possible. :
There are essential stones and non-essential stones.
If you are missing an essential stone, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to provide you with the missing stone as soon as possible.
For non-essential stones, you may note this on the enclosed form. These stones will then be ordered as soon as possible for the next tenant.
If you are not finished building during your rental period, it is recommended that you contact us a few days before the end of the rental period.
If the set is not rented after your rental period, you can continue to rent the set without any problems. If the set is rented after your rental period, we will look for a suitable solution.
We have a personal approach. Because we do not send the sets and find the human contact between the tenant and us very important, this has a personal added value.
We want to inform the tenants about the sets, have a nice chat about the set, answer questions, etc. That is why we introduced the service of delivery and collection at your home.
No subscription. We do not have subscription formulas. The reason for this is that we do not want to oblige people to anything. We strive to satisfy every renter. The sets that are rented are taken care of down to the last detail. It must be a very nice experience to receive a set.
We make our offer for small and big, young and old. For builders who like to build small sets and builders who want to build big sets. We have not only the big sets but also some small sets. Something for everyone...
How to use the element splitter
Are you ready to break down your Lego creation and build something completely new with the pieces? No need to strain your fingers to separate those hard-to-remove elements - there's a better, safer way! The Element Separator is the ultimate tool for taking your bricks apart! Follow these un-building instructions and you'll be on your way to your next LEGO build
Lego plates have a lot of 'clamp power' and really like to stick to studs - here's an easy way to get them loose so you can use them somewhere else!
- Press the front part of the element splitter onto two studs of the plate. The splitter should click into place like a normal Lego brick.
- Press down on the back of the splitter, using the ridges for a firm grip. Make sure the rest of your Lego set doesn't move - you may need to hold it in place with your other hand.
- The front of the splitter has an angled portion at the bottom. When you push down on the back of the splitter, this angle should allow the plate to easily separate from the other piece.
Lego plates stick very well to the bottom of other Lego elements. The element splitter is the perfect tool to pry those plates free!
- Press the two studs on the front of the splitter up under the Lego plate. The splitter should click into place just like a normal Lego brick.
- Press down on the back of the splitter, using the ridges for a firm grip. Make sure the rest of your Lego set doesn't move - you may need to hold it in place with your other hand.
- The front of the splitter has an angled section at the top. When you lift the back of the splitter, this angle should allow the plate to easily separate from the other piece.
Lego Technic™ axles add a lot of stability to Lego constructions when used in a brick with a cross hole. But someday you may want to remove that Technic axle and use it for something else. When that day comes, you'll be glad you have a brick separator on hand.
- Take the Lego brick with the Technic axle in the cross hole and hold it firmly so that it does not move.
- The top of the splitter has a section that is shaped like a small Technic beam - a T-segment. Orient this T-segment so that it is exactly aligned with the cross-hole of the brick with the Technic shaft in it.
- Press the splitter so that the T-segment goes into the cross hole of the brick - this will cause the Technic axle to pop out the other side of the brick.
No studs? No problem! The brick separator is a great way to pry loose LEGO tiles.
- Take the edge of the element splitter with the text “Lego” on it - the “back” - and slide it into the space between the tile and studs.
- Press the other side of the splitter so that it lifts the “back” up like a lever. Make sure the rest of your Lego set doesn’t move – you may need to hold it in place with your other hand.
- The edge of the splitter should pry the Lego tile loose.
